GIRL WITH THE NEGATIVELAND T-SHIRT

This is a mini-comic that I made years ago that was only in print for a few months but I recently had a new batch made for your consumption!

As proof that I’m interested in doing things other than mildly entertaining autobiographical comics this is a heartwarming tale about two strangers whose paths cross during a snowstorm at a tiny little motel.

It was inspired by this motel I visited often during the years I used to trek up to Massachusetts every few weeks to see my girlfriend.

As stated in the introduction to the comic our relationship didn’t weather the distance but I’ve never lost that soft spot in my heart for the Lighthouse Inn in Silver Creek, NY.

Anyway, this is the long awaited return of Murphy as both writer and artist, a task he has not undertaken since his indie hit, OFF ROAD. Presented in stark black, white and ink splatter, Murphy tackles the always enjoyable subject of religion and its current implications in our instant techo-gratification reality show society. Just how long until things fly off the rails? Probably page 3, but we'll just have to wait and see... RECOMMENDED BY CASEY!!
