EMPLOYEE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR 4/17!!

MINIATURE JESUS #1

(W/A) Ted McKeever

Devil on one shoulder - angel on the other. One tells you to do bad things, the other . . . well, you get the idea. Bad news for a recovering alcoholic if the "good" one is MIA. Between a liquor-gulping demon and a mummified cat hell-bent on mucking up his fragile stability with esoteric trappings of Egyptian Gods, it's all about to make our hero's day hit the proverbial fan.

Ted McKeever is weird. Straight up. His comics read like bizarre artifacts one might find crumpled next to overflowing trash bins in a New York subway tunnel, read under a flickering, sickly yellow light that allows for only a fractured view of the complex puzzles McKeever builds in his seemingly nonsensical works.

ZANADU RECOMMENDATIONS FOR 8/1/12

MONDO #3

(W/A) Ted McKeever

Y'know those kinds of days when your fuse is so short, you explode at the most mundane circumstance? Mondo doesn't have those days because EVERY day is that way for him, and in the third and final issue of this explosive 'Roid-Raging series, he's about to outdo even himself.

It all comes crashing to a head in this, the last issue of McKeever's muscle bound, poultry filled, Venice beach destroying monstrosity called Mondo. Truly at the height of his demented powers, McKeever's comics feel like great punk from the early 80's--dirty. RECOMMENDED BY CASEY!
