STUMPTOWN HC VOL 02

(W) Greg Rucka  (A) Matthew Southworth

From Eisner Award-winning writer Greg Rucka and acclaimed artist Matthew Southworth comes a NEW Stumptown mystery! Dex Parios has finally opened her own office, and her first case is to find rock star Mim Bracca's baby - her prized guitar, which disappeared after her band Tailhook's Portland show. Mim has no leads, and she doesn't want to go to the police - but Dex needs the case, and besides, it shouldn't be that hard to find a missing guitar. As long as the D.E.A. doesn't get involved ... or the Skinheads ...

REMINDER! REMINDER! STUMPTOWN VOL. 2 SIGNING!!

We're pleased to announce that the artist of Stumptown, Matthew Southworth, will be signing next Wednesday 9/12/12, from 3-6 PM.

For those who don't know, Stumptown is a fantastic crime boo...

k written by Greg Rucka and based in Portland featuring Dex Parios, a female private investigator with a gambling problem. It takes place in the same continuity as Rucka's novel Fistful of Rain and Atticus Kodiak novels. Truly one of the best female led crime books on the market, hell, one of THE best crime books on the shelves period. The art is super moody, chock full of noir goodness and extensively researched locations that any Portland native will recognize.

Hope to see you all next Wednesday 9/12, from 3-6PM!!

*As an added bonus, Harrison Wood, the artist on Gemini Storm, will be appearing as well, along with copies of his comics for sale! Check out the facebook page for more info! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Gemini-Storm/160155480714996
