While we have always prided ourselves on our VAST selection of comic books and graphic novels, there comes a time when you need to branch out into the other realms of geekdom with toys, posters, statues, t-shirts and other nonsense for the discerning fan boy or girl. After 42 years, we have accumulated an eclectic array of cool stuffs so keep your eye out next time your in the store, you never know what may have been excavated from the bowels of the boss' basement!

Manga or Japanese comics, is one of the greatest things to ever happen to the American comic market since the advent of Super-Heroes. While we know a lot of our customers only truck with the 'Merican made books we all know and love, Manga offers a VAST array of subject matter, genres, art/writing styles and situations that appeal to age groups from wee little ones to grumpy old people! Even the most jaded comic book reader will find something new and exciting in the world of MANGA!!

This week we're spotlighting Ghost in the Shell creator Shirow Masamune's DOMINION! A more light-hearted series than the master's frequently-adapted opus, Dominion nonetheless deals with Masamune's common themes of relationships between nature and technology, citizens and authority, and love and duty. Chock full of imaginative characters and painstakingly rendered vehicle designs, it is more than a fun diversion from heavier fair, deserving of its spot on the shelf alongside more well-known titles.
