ISLAND BRAT

(W/A) Colleen Frakes

"My family lived on McNeil Island for about ten years- the longest I've ever lived in one place. It was also home to one of, if not the last, island prisons in the US. In January of 2011, the prison was closed down due to budget cuts, and all of the island residents were made to leave."

The book is saddle stitched, 7x6", 48 pages, b+w with a color cover.

ISLAND BRAT 2

(W/A) Colleen Frakes

"I grew up on America's last island prison, accessible only by air or sea. People seem to find this pretty interesting, so I keep making comics about it. Here's three stories about what it was like to move to the island, shop on the mainland, and how a prison break almost ruined my birthday."

4.25 x 5.5, 24 pages, b+w interiors, color cover.
