Nine years ago when I saw the first issue of this comic sitting on the stands, it called to me like a siren from another world. From cover to cover, this comic exploded deep within my mind and it took me weeks to work out the aftershocks that ran through my soul. It is with this book that I fell in love with Matt Fraction. Maybe not the real Fraction, but the one who is Casanova Quinn, the one who is larger than life and whose fiction influences their reality like Grant Morrison or some shit. This man made me want to make comics and it was this comic that I try to aspire to create. Something so layered, so bizarre, so intense and yet so real, so meaningful. Forget what you know about Fraction. Forget what you know about Casanova Quinn. This is the future. Read it with your third eye!!
